Memories There is no Time Between your heart & mine, Though time has passed Since I saw your face… I see your smile, your eyes As yesterday And feel again Your loving, warm embrace.   I miss them still But most of all, your heart… I wonder: did you Ever know its worth? The heart that gave And loved, so sure & long… Loyal heart!  Rare pilgrim On this earth!   And though the years Pass by like shifting sand, The shore of Time Remains the same to me… I smile to know Eternity itself Will not erase one Precious Memory.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep.

 

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

 

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle autumn's rain.

 

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush.

 

Of quiet birds in circled flight,

I am the soft star that shines at night.

 

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.

 

My spirit lives on with those I love,

I'll always be there, just above.
